Talking About the Wines:
-Vinous Media (Explore All Things Wine), Jan '16 gave 90 points to 2013 Baboix Blanc. "Aromas of ripe citrus, orchard fruits and honey are complicated by suave floral and mineral notes. Smooth and seamless in texture, with melon, pear and tangerine flavors showing good heft and thrust. The pentrating finish lingers nicely, echoing the honey and mineral notes."
-Wine Spectator Magazine, Dec '15 gave 90 points to 2013 Baboix Blanc. "Waxy, briny notes, frame pear, and apple flavors, in this broad white. Gentle acidity supports the polished texture, giving way to a savory finish. Big, but stays balanced."
-Wine & Spirits Magazine, Feb '15 gave 91 points to 2013 Baboix Blanc and named it a Year's Best Catalan Wine. "This blends equal parts garnacha blanca, chardonnay, and macabeo, ripened under the Catalan sun into the creaminess of a Mediterranean white. Its floral fruit carries just enough acidity to balance the round, voluptuous texture."
